3、 19(local time).More than 100 guests attended the event,including Chen Zheng,Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of the Peoples Republicof China in Japan,Luo Yuquan,Director of the China CulturalCenter in Tokyo,and Shimizu Seno,former Consul General ofthe Consulate General of Japan in Chongqing and Pr
4、esident of theJapan-ChinaAssociation.In his speech,Liu Qi,Head of the Chongqing Cultureand Tourism Delegation,focused on promoting Chongqingsdistinctive cultural tourism routes,including the tour to the“3Dcity of Chongqing,the tour to the magnificent Three Gorges onthe Yangtze River,the tour to worl
5、d heritage sites,the health andheart nourishing tour to hot springs,and the tour to experiencehumanistic charms,as well as the urban art performance gatheringplace that is currently under construction.Several favorablepoliciessuch as the 144-hour visa-free transit and allowingforeign-invested travel
6、 agencies in Chongqing to engage inoutbound tourism in most regionshave been implemented inChongqing.Japanese travel agencies are welcome to establishChen Zheng fully recognized Chongqings experience intourism development.He stated that during the just-passedLabour Day Golden Week,Chongqings level o
7、f touristreception had already exceeded that of the same period in2019.The provincial-level delegation from Chongqing,which was the first to visit Japan after Chinas optimized andadjusted epidemic prevention policies,set a great example forpromoting cultural tourism.Moving forward,it was hopedto see
8、 an increase in the number of Japanese tourists visitingChongqing.In this promotional event,cultural communication andtourism promotion were integrated in an organic manner.Artperformance promotion projects were introduced,such as theupgraded immersive dance drama Du Fu,as well as a selectionfrom Sa

10、phere of the event to a climax.Texas,the United StatesFrom May 22 to 24,2023,the 2023 Chongqing GlobalCultural Tourism Promotion came to Kilgore,Texas,wherethe Texas Shakespeare Festival took place.On the eveningof May 24,the promotion was held on the main stage of theFestival.Liu Qi extended a warm
11、 invitation to all the artistspresent at the Festival,while the cultural tourism promoter,Gaoya Xiaozi,presented the audience with Chongqingsunique cultural and tourism resources.Influencing people through culture can better bindour souls together;communicating with hearts through artcan more easily
