1. Gogo is missing Gogo不见了。
missing adj. 丢失的，例如：
My pen is missing.
Are you sure your dog is missing?
2. He is white all over, with big black eyes, short ears and short legs.
他浑身白色，长着又大又黑的眼睛，短耳朵，短腿。
（1）all over 意为：全身，到处 例如：
The boy is dirty all over.
The dog is running all over.
There are flowers all over the yard.
（2）with意为“具有”，介词短语表伴随状态。
Mr. Wang has got a big house with a beautiful garden.
Lucy is a tall girl, with a lovely round face and long straight hair.
My father goes to work with his mobile phone.
3. Lin Li’s looking for Gogo in the neighbourhood. 林莉正在邻近地方找Gogo。
look for 动词短语：寻找，强调动作、过程。例如：
（1）——What are you doing now?
——I’m looking for my cat. It is missing.
（2）——Who are you looking for?
——Mr. Li. I have something important to tell him.

4. Her best friend Lily is stay with her and helping her look for the dog.

（1）stay with… 和……在一起

（2）help sb. do sth. 帮助某人做某事。例如：
Lily is good at math. She often helps me do my math homework.
Would you like to help me clean the kitchen?
help sb. with sth. 在某方面帮助某人。例如：
Our English teacher is very nice. She often helps us with our pronunciation.

5. Lin Li feels very sad. 林莉感觉非常难过。
feel sad 感觉难过
feel + adj. （形容词） 感觉…… 例如：
feel happy

6. She is crying and talking to herself. 她在哭并自言自语。
talk to oneself. 自言自语。
同义词：say to oneself. 例如：

without 介词，意为：没有
People can’t live without water.
We can’t finish the work without your help.
They can’t cook dishes without oil.
Mr. Li goes to work without breakfast every day. It is not good for him.
反义词：with意为“有”。
Tom has got a story book with many pictures.
My sister has got a beautiful skirt with a red flower.

8. We are all worried about you. 我们都很担心你。
be worried about… 担心……，为……而担心。例如：
Mary is worried about her Chinese.

同义词：worry about… 例如：

9. The neighbours are listening carefully. 邻居们正在认真地听着。
listen carefully 认真地听
watch TV carefully

carefully是副词，用来修饰动词的
careful 是形容词，用来修饰名词的。例如：
a careful girl study carefully

10. She is running here and there. 她正在到处跑。
here and there 到处，四处，同义词为：everywhere

同义词：have a good time
have a great time
have a nice time
12. He is thinking of going home now. 现在他正在考虑回家。
think of 考虑。例如：
I’m thinking of writing Tom to my birthday party.
Mary is thinking of joining the Art club.
I never think of cooking.
They are thinking of holding an English party.
[注意]think of 介词短语后面用动名词。
13. There isn’t anything good to eat in the park. 公园里没有好吃的。
anything good 好东西，用于否定句和一般疑问句中。
Is there anything new in the newspaper?
Is there anything interesting in the book?
There isn’t anything delicious in the fridge.
