3、rote a lot.Through my study, I got the chance to talk to the locals and share stories and experiences with my host family. _3_Classes were long, homework was pleasantly challenging, but there was plenty of time in that one month of July to explore the city and see France. The food and the trips were
4、 by far the best part of my experience. I was in homestay and all my meals were home-made, French and delicious. _4_ I also got to see places that I had only ever heard about in my studies. Physically going to sights rich in history and beauty was incredible.Studying abroad, you will be able to expl
5、ore the world and become more aware of other cultures. A study abroad experience is eye-opening and fruitful in all aspects, no matter how long the stay is. You will make friends and discover delicious or perhaps strange foods. _5_AThe cheese and bread were wonderful.BIt was indeed the most tiring m
6、oment in my life.CTo realize it I chose to study abroad in Angers, France.DI couldnt even find a single minute to record my experiences.ESuch experience will make you a culturally and socially richer person.FThats when my passion for the French language and culture was born.GDespite the busy class s
7、chedule, my time in Angers was simply lovely. We all have to make decisions all the time, and we have an abundance of choices, ranging from tiny issues to vital ones. Unfortunately, people often find it hard to make decisions. _6_ If you would like to improve your skill of decision making, here are
8、four suggestions for you. Dont expect to have it all. _7_ You cant order every delicious dish on the menu. And there will be paths not taken, careers not chosen, to name a few. You can imagine some “what if situations if you must, but do not let them take up too much space in your brain. _8_ Its oft
9、en good to think through your decisions. But dont overdo it. Research can reach a point where returns begin to reduce, which makes it confusing more than clarifying. Many good decisions can be made based as much on intuition (直觉) as on careful assessment of endless data. Dont delay making decisions.
10、 Yes, there is a time to put off making a decision. Perhaps you need more information. _9_ Or its likely that you wait for a less stressful time. Just dont wait so long that the decision is made by your own indecisiveness (犹豫不决). Dont be hard on yourself. You decide to go on a voyage. You choose an
11、expensive liner. Everything should work out just right. Only you didnt expect an illness that ran around on the ship, making you and your family sick for five days._10_But please remember it is unavoidable sometimes.ADont spend too much time thinking.BIt is an important source of information.CYou ma
12、y regret making such a stupid decision.DDont count on emotion to make decisions.EMaybe you wish to ask your advisor for help.FDecisions force us to give up something.GThat means the skill of good decision-making is really important. Anxiety is a normal feeling characterized by worry or fear. For exa
13、mple, if you have a big test, or when you dont know how an event will turn out, you are likely to be anxious. _11_ Here are tips to reduce your symptoms(症状). *Get the right amount of sleep. Getting the proper amount of sleep at night is important. Your mind and body can reset, which helps you make b
14、etter decisions when you wake up. This can also help adjust your moods and allow you to be able to get through your daily tasks._12_ After doing this for a while, your body may start to get tired at the same time each day, which could mean you will have an easier time going to sleep each night. *_13
15、_Breathing deeply can often help regulate anxious physical symptoms. When you breathe in deeply, not only does oxygen enter your body, but you also have to take a minute to change what you are doing. Sometimes when you take yourself out of a stressful situation for a while, you can gain a completely
16、 new understanding of whats going on. Try to stop and take deep breaths whenever you start to feel anxious. *Pay attention to triggers(诱因). _14_In some cases, these things may be obvious, but at other times, you may have trouble identifying them. You can start writing down what happens to you in a j
17、ournal so that you can rule out certain events and habits. Anxiety is a part of life, but it doesnt have to prevent you from living the life you want. There are many ways to change your life and habits._15_ALearn how to breathe.BLiving with anxiety isnt easy.CExamine your values and live by them.DSt
18、ress can cause you to have trouble falling asleep.EYou should start to remove the things that trouble you.FBe sure to take care of yourself and reduce the stress in your life.GTry to go to sleep at the same time each night, even on the weekends. A few days ago, our school held a two-day food festiva

Before the food festival started, the school had set up tents and posted menus at the gate of the canteen to attract students. _16_On the first day of the food festival, when the bell rang after the last class in the morning, everyone rushed to the booths (摊位) in front of the canteen. _17_ There
20、was a long line in front of each booth. Everyone sweated in the burning sun, but the heat didnt stop the students enthusiasm for delicious food.
