I realize I am holding an apple tree in my hand---a little seed with the potential to become a beautiful big tree—a tree that can grow thousands of apples in its lifetime. Thousands of apples, each containing several seeds, each capable of growing a new tree which again can produce thousands of apples. Why then the world isn’t filled with apple trees?
It is a rule of nature that only a few of these seeds grow. And it comes to my mind it’s quite often so with people’s dreams also. Wonderful ideas come to our minds but they die too soon. The dreams are too far away from our life. And then one day we wonder what has happened to our dreams—why do they never come true?
I wonder when someone is seriously growing apples, how much work does it require?
Maybe it is like with our dreams: the seeds of your dreams do not automatically grow. Planting an apple tree, it might take many tries. You might meet dozens of people until you meet the true friend. But if you keep on sowing the seeds of your dream, one day you will succeed. And after that others will comment you are lucky to be successful—when in fact you probably have failed more often than you would like to count. But you are good at failing—you learn, you adapt, and then with your new knowledge you try again. And again. And again. And one day success is yours.
I pick up the apple seed again—but instead of throwing it away I take an empty flower pot, pour some earth into it and plant the seed. Maybe one day it will grow into a proud tree.

One possible version:
Dreams are like the seeds of an apple tree. Every seed has the potential to grow into a big beautiful apple tree. But unfortunately, not all of them can succeed.
In our real life, many people have their beautiful dreams. But some of them fail to turn them into reality. There are many reasons for their failures. First of all, it's a rule of nature that not all seeds can become big apple trees. In other words, maybe their dreams are not so realistic. Secondly, when they have their dreams, they don't work hard to make them come true. Actually, to realize your dreams is like planting an apple tree. You have to keep on sowing the seeds until you succeed.
I like physics. My dream is to become a physicist. Last year, I got the first prize in physics contest in our city. I am sure my dream will be realized if I keep on trying.

A passenger told an air hostess that he needed a cup of water to take his medicine when the plane just took off. She told him that she would bring him the water within ten minutes.
Thirty minutes passed. But the air hostess was so busy in the aircraft cabin(客舱) that she forgot to bring him the water! As a result, the passenger couldn’t take his medicine. When the air hostess hurried to him with a cup of water, he was angry and refused her offer.
In the following hours on the flight, each time the air hostess passed by the passenger she would ask him with a smile whether he needed help or not. But the passenger never paid attention to her.
When the passenger was going to get off the plane, he said to the air hostess with a smile, “On the flight，you offer service to me for twelve times in a11. Although l didn’t accept them, how can I refuse your twelve sincere smiles?”

A passenger on a flight become very angry because the air hostess forgot to bring him a cup of water. But finally he was moved by her sincere smiles and service .
Although the air hostess made a mistake because of her busy work, she tried to make up and offered the service sincerely. Therefore, if I were the passenger, I would be moved by the air hostess as well.
I used to meet a waiter like the air hostess. Because of his carelessness, he spilled the soup on a customer. Of course the customer became angry. The waiter realized his fault, apologized to the customer sincerely and finally got the customer’s pardon.
As to me, I believe that we can get pardon or even repay if we treat others sincerely. When others feel that we are sincere enough, they are more willing to forgive or help us.
