Impregnating compound is a mixture of various chemical substances and used on the surface of glass fiber. Most of the material contained in the infiltration agent is a high molecular weight polymer with reactive composition, ingredients are usually inactive(for example the starch),it is outside of range of EINECS and ELINCS list.
In some cases, the Impregnating compound may contain a mailing of silane or other substances. Because these substances concentration are very low (below the total amount of 0.1%), and they may make polymerization in the process of glass fiber production, Even if these substances are likely to be hazardous substances, manufacturers generally ignore the hazards of these substances.

5. First aid measures：
Skin contact: Wash off with soap and plenty of water。Do not wash with hot water, because hot water will make the skin pores open, so that the glass fiber thorn deeper。If the glass fiber thorn into the skin, with a towel to help set out, in order to avoid further deterioration, do not rub, scratch the skin has been infected，
Eyes contact: rinse the eyes for 15 minutes with clear water, if the eyes are still very afflictive, please seek medical attention
Inhalation: If breathed in, move person into fresh air. If you feel that it is difficult to breath, please offer oxygen. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Consult a physician.
Ingestion: usually, the possibility of eating into this material is not large, but if there is such a situation, it should be observed for a few days, convinced that the stomach is not comfortable, do not vomit, unless the medical staff to do so, if it is not comfortable to go to the hospital for treatment.
6. Firefighting measures
Combustion grade：The product itself does not flame，but the impregnating compound and packing material on the glass fiber can be flamed.
Harmful combustion products: The main releases are carbon monoxide, hydrogen, carbon dioxide and water.
Extinguishing measures: Fire extinguishing agents use dry chemical agents, foam, carbon dioxide, water.
Fire precautions and measures：in fire-fighting, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
7. Accidental release measure:
If release on the ground, sweep up and shovel and keep them in suitable, closed containers of disposal; if release in the water, the glass fiber will make deposition and dispersion, so it is difficult to clear completely. But these materials are not hazardous in water.
8. Handling and storage:
Precautions for safe handling: To avoid packing damage, as far as possible to produce the minimum amount of dust, working environment must be cleans, and avoid debris.

Thrill: The dust of fiberglass may cause skin and eye irritation. Ingestion of fiberglass may cause temporary discomfort in the throat, stomach and intestines. Inhalation May cause coughing, sneezing, nose and throat irritation. According to current experience, inhalation of fiberglass may cause dyspnea, congestion and chest sclerosis.
Carcinogenicity: IRC is a part of the World Health Organization. He concluded that fiberglass is not a human carcinogen. Because there is insufficient evidence that fiberglass can cause human and experimental animals to cause cancer.
