if 引导的条件状语从句
Read the sentences and work out the rule.
1.If I am happy, I will smile.
2.If it is sunny, I will play football.
3.If we are happy, we will dance.
4.They will play the guitar well if they work hard.
5.I won’t go fishing if it rains.
6.We must stop if the traffic lights are red.
1.if表示 “______”的意思， 引导条件状语从句，表示假如有从句的动作发生就（不）会有主句的动作发生。 if 的条件句位置灵活，可直接放在主句后面， _____（用/不 用）逗号隔开（例4、5、6）。 ；当if引导的从句放在主句前时，_____（用/不 用）逗号隔开两个句子（例1、2、3）。
2.时态：主句用___________时， if引导的条件状语从句用__________时表示将来意义,简称“主将从现” 。
例： I will go fishing if it doesn’t rain.
一般将来时：

3. 如果主句中含有can, may, must等情态动词，从句也要用____________时。
例： We must stop if the traffic lights are red.

顺口溜：
if条件句不一般, 几个要点记心间；
条件句, 放在前, 逗号要放句中间；
条件句表可能，主句多用将来时。
