　　Summer Palace is the imperial palace and temporary residence of the Qing Dynasty. Today we come to Summer Palace. Summer Palace was built in 1750 AD and burned down by the British and French allied forces in 1860. In 1886, Cixi misappropriated naval funds and other funds for reconstruction. Summer Palace is mainly composed of Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake. With its ingenious conception, exquisite architecture and great achievement of Chinese garden art, the “Royal Garden Museum” is the most well preserved garden with rich landscaping, concentrated buildings in the world.
　　Firstly, we arrived at Kunming Lake. The water in Kunming Lake is crystal clear and sparkling like a mirror. There is a seventeen hole bridge on the ten sides of Kunming Lake. The seventeen hole bridge runs from one hole in the middle to both sides, with nine holes on each side. It is symmetrical and represents the highest royal bridge.

　　After that, we came to the Long Corridor. The corridor is the longest in Guinness, with a length of 782 meters and exquisite colored paintings, totaling over 1400 pieces. The corridor has four pavilions, named after the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn, and winter.

　　After visiting Summer Palace, we went home.
