    七年级英语 Unit3 Topic2 Section B Good morning, everyone! I am very happy to be here Now I’ll say Section B,Topic2 of Unit 3 in Project English. My teaching report includes four parts. Part One: Analysis of the Teaching Material (一) Status and Function 1 To attain “four skills” request of listening, speaking reading and writing. 2 To help the students think about what they want to do in the future by talking about the jobs. 3 To raise learning interests of students and to improve their spoken English. (二) Teaching Aims and Demands 1 Knowledge objects ① To master these new words: work, on a farm, hospital, drive, etc ②To master these new languages: ---What does he/she do? ---He/She is a farmer. ---Where does he/she work? ---He/She works on a farm. 2 Ability objects ① To improve the Ss’ abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing. ② To train the Ss’ ability of working in pairs. ③ To develop the Ss’ abilities of communication. 3 Moral objects ① Make the students have successful feeling and achievement. ② Make them be interested in English. (三) Teaching Key and Difficult Points 1 Words about jobs and workplace 2 The sentence structure (四) Teaching Aids Tape recorder, Power point, Game cards Part Two: Teaching Methods 1 Communicative teaching method 2 Audio-visual teaching method 3 Task-based teaching method Part Three: Teaching Procedure Step1 Revision 1 Talk with students about jobs. 2 Ask and answer by using the slides. 3 Work in pairs Step2 Presentation Present this conversation by using the slides: ---What does he/she do? ---He/She is a farmer. ---Where does he/she work? ---He/She works on a farm. Purpose of my designing: Slides can provide a real situation. Step3 Practice and Consolidation 1 Learn the new words and phrases work, on a farm, hospital, drive, etc 2 Ask and answer in pairs Step4 Pair work and Guessing game 1 Complete the sentences. 2 Perform and guess the jobs in pairs. Purpose of my designing: To raise learning interests of students. Step5 Listening Listen and fill out the table. Purpose of my designing: To practice the Ss’listening skill. Step6 Project and Homework 1 Make a survey and fill out the table. Purpose of my designing: To develop the Ss’ abilities of communication. 2 Play the game: Spin to get a job.
