  Last night a strong wind as well as a heavily rain struck our area. News came that the trees in the park two kilometers away from our school was blown down. This afternoon, they set off the park to do some cleaning. The head of the park met us or gave us some advice on how to clear away the falling trees, branches and leaves. Some times later, we were working hard when it begins to rain. Because few of us had taken along umbrellas or raincoats, so we were all wet. A rain lasted about an hour and it was a pity that they had to stop our work.

    Once a man got on a bus for New York. He hid in toilet, because he did not want to pay. But a passenger saw her. But anywhere along the way, it changed. The bus driver was told that there was a bomb in the toilet. He immediate stopped the bus and telephoned the police. When the police came in, they told the passengers to get off the bus or stay far away. Then they closed the highway. This soon caused a 15-miles-long traffic jam. Under the help of a dog, the police searched for two hours. Of course they found no bomb!

    When I was in high school, I seldom had a chance to help my parents in the housework. Felt quite sorry for that, I wondered what to do to help. One day, my parents went out shopping. I suddenly got an idea: why not to give the apartment a thoroughly clean? I began by putting all the books, newspapers and another things in place. Then I wiped the dust off the furnitures. After that, I swept and mop the floor. When my parents came back, they were surprising to find all the rooms tidy. My mother gave me hug. Tired as I was, they felt very happy.

    Recently, the increasing of shared bikes have made our lives more convenient. However, my classmates and I often noticed some shared bikes place messily everywhere. We felt upset but decided to make a change to the uncivilized behavior. On Saturday morning, we gather outside the subway station. First, we began with those messy shared bikes and tried to put them in to order. People passing by appreciated that we did. Seen the bikes in rows on the pavement, we felt excited. Then, in order to encourage people’s civilized behavior, we put up a largely poster saying “Please Be Civilized While Using A Shared Bike”. Of course, we drew much attention from the passer-by. Hopefully our actions will make difference.

    When I started college, I moved to other city, away from my family and old friends. At that time, I was so shy to make new friends so I was very alone for a few weeks.
    But finally, I made friends for other students. Mark was a special person that wants to save the earth. He talked to everyone about the importance of reducing trash, reuse things and recycling all the time. Kathy was most intelligent student I had ever known. I learned many things from her. They are real nice persons, just like my old friends. During the college time, we had visited many places and did many crazy things together.

    Today was Women's Day. Zhang Wei had a good idea and told his father that he is going to do something to make his mother happily.
