Module 1
1、 make a mistake 犯错误 （make mistakes 犯错误）
2、 as much as possible 尽可能多地 （as + 形容词或副词+ as possible ：尽可能怎么样）
some advice 一些意见（advice n.. 不可数， 一条建议： a piece of advice）
3、 advise sb to do sth. 建议某人做某事
否定形式：advise sb not to do sth. 建议某人不做某事 advise .v

（2）许多形容词可直接加ly 变成副词，如：

1、How long (对一段具体的时间或物体的长度提问) How often (对频度提问)

2、 decide to do sth. 决定做某事。 decide on sth. 决定某事
3、 have no choice but to do sth. 别无选择，只能做某事。

5、形容词和副词的最高级：
（1）、直接在形容词或副词后面加est (有些词需作适当变化，课本P125)
（2）、在形容词或副词前加most, 变最高级。

（3）形容词、副词不规则变化。

5、It’s difficult / easy (for sb) to do sth. 此处的sb 为宾格。比较（have trouble doing sth）

7、语法知识点： 双宾语。（直接宾语和间接宾语）
根据动词的不同，有时用to, 有时用 for.
常见结构：
give sb sth = give sth to sb 给某人某物
I gave Tony five yuan. = I gave five yuan to Tony.
buy sb sth = buy sth for sb 给某人买某物
My mother bought me an ipad. = My mother bought an ipad for me. (详见课本P127)

Module 6
1、be interested to do sth. 对做某事感兴趣。 比较（be interested in doing sth）
2、many kinds of 许多种类的 （all kinds of 各种各样的）
3、make sb do sth. 让某人做某事
4、had better do sth. 最好做某事 （否定： had better not do sth）
(缩写： we had better = we’d better 以此类推，she’d better, you’d better)
5、develop a plan 制定一个计划

Module 7
1、once or twice 一两次、偶尔
2、arrive in / at 到达
3、take the place of …… 代替、取代
4、walk / go across = cross v. 穿过
5、too……to…… ： 太……以至于不能…… Jack is too tired to write his homework.
so……that…… ： 太……以至于…… Jack is so tired that he can’t write his homework.
6、不定代词修饰形容词。顺序为：不定代词+形容词 （nothing strange， something new）
（了解常见的不定代词： no-, any-, every-, some-）
7、语法知识点： 过去进行时。（was / were +v.ing）

Module 8
1、in time 及时 on time 按时、准时
2、pay (more、much) attention to sb / sth 注意某人/某物 (to 为介词)
3、pick sth up = pick up sth . 捡起 （捡起的物体为具体代词时，放中间）
4、a few days ago / earlier 几天之前
5、take sb’s advice 采纳某人的意见 （eg: take my mother’s advice）
6、make a decision 做一个决定 （ decide v. 决定； decision n. 决定 ）

Module 9
1、not……any more = no more 不再
2、solve a problem 解决一个问题
3、It takes sb +时间/金钱 + to do sth. 做某事花费某人多少时间或金钱。
（原型为：take, 三单形式：takes, 过去式：took）
4、spend v.花费 它的主语必须是人， 常用于以下结构：
(1) spend time ／money on sth. 在……上花费时间（金钱）。
例：I spent two hours on this maths problem. 这道数学题花了我两个小时。
(2) spend time ／money (in) doing sth. 花费时间（金钱）做某事。
例：They spent two years (in) building this bridge. 造这座桥花了他们两年时间。
5、wish sb to do sth. 同 hope to do sth. 希望做某事。
6、冠词： 定冠词：the; 不定冠词：a 和 an （详见情景导学 P56）
7、数字的表达。 （基数词和序数词）
（1）、基数词： one, two, three, four, five……（注意：forty）
12,345,095：________________________________________________________________
40,546,345：________________________________________________________________
（2）、序数词：first, second, third, fourth, fifth……（注意：ninth, 遇整十，变y为ie, 再加th.）
(3)、分数的表达：分子用基数词，分母用序数词。（分子大于一，分母要加s ）

Talking about English Learning
English is the most important and useful language in the world. It is also one of the subjects in schools.
In class, I try to listen to the teacher carefully and speak English as much as possible. After class, I often go over the lessons, listen to English tapes, read English newspapers and so on. I study hard, so I’m good at it.
By the way, here are some suggestions about how to learn English well for you. First, believe yourself, try to read or speak English loudly. Second, you had better learn English words by heart. Third, it is a good idea to use English as much as possible. Finally, why not find an English pen friend and write email messages to each other in English? Nothing is impossible if you put your heart into it.(世上无难事，只怕有心人) So I believe our English will be better and better.
