    (中职)英语基础教程(2) Uint 8电子教案 Unit 8 If I feel bored, I can chat with friends on WeChat. 一、单元内容分析 本单元的话题是网络话题。教学重点是运用本单元出现的常用词汇、短语和相关句式谈论网络话题。具体为能够听懂关于智能手机的对话;正确及熟练运用英语谈论智能手机;能够读懂网上帖子;能够根据所提供的信息写出回帖;同时让学生通过对未来科技的了解,了解科技对人类生活的影响。本单元的语法点为条件状语从句。 本单元的网络话题迎合学生的兴趣,和学生的生活联系比较紧密。就词汇和句型而言,学生在以前的学习中也有所接触。本单元既是对以前词汇和句型学习的一个总结和复习,又增加了比较多的具有时代感的词汇,吸引学生的兴趣。因此,针对中职学生遗忘率较高的实际情况,教师通过合理的设计帮助学生复习的同时,融入新内容,有效的完成词汇听、说、读、写四个任务,重视运用。在谈论网络话题及阅读相关文章的过程中,培养学生自我控制能力,正确对待网络和学习的关系。 本单元设计成四个课时: 第一课时 Lead in + Listening and speaking 第二课时 Reading and writing 第三课时Grammar focus (conditional adverbial clauses) 第四课时 Vocabulary practice + Supplementary reading 二、分课时教学设计 第一课时 Lead in + Listening and Speaking 一、教材分析 1.教学内容 本课时系教材《英语基础教程》(2)第八单元的第一课时,包括Lead-in & Listening and speaking两部分,具体内容为:掌握提供及询问智能手机话题的词汇和句型;能够听懂关于智能手机话题的对话;正确及熟练运用英语谈论网络相关话题。 2.教学重点、难点 ⑴教学重点 掌握智能手机话题的词汇和句型。复习初中所学关于网络话题的词汇和短语; 听懂询问和回答智能手机话题的词汇和句型; 听懂询问和回答有关智能手机话题的简单对话。 ⑵教学难点 在模拟或真实语境中谈论智能手机话题. 二、教学目标 1. 知识目标 ⑴ 掌握与智能手机话题相关的词汇:Website, online, chat, upload, download, communicate, shop online, Internet, search, make a phone call, take a message等等。 ⑵掌握询问、回答智能手机话题所使用的句型,如: ---May I ask you some questions about ---? --- Certainly. ---Do you have a---? --- Yes, I do. ---What do you often do on the smart phone? -- I watch movies, shop online and---. ---What do you think of the smart phone? --- It’s both good and bad. ---How come? ---It’s good because ---. It’s bad because ---. ---Do you chat with friends on WeChat? ---Yes, I do. /No, I don’t. 2. 能力目标 ⑴学生能听懂关于询问和回答智能手机话题的对话。 ⑵学生能应用基本句型进行询问和回答智能手机为主题的简单交谈。 (3)对以上智能手机话题的基本词汇和句型达到听、说及应用的程度。 3. 情感目标 在谈论智能手机话题及阅读相关文章的过程中,培养学生自我控制能力,正确对待网络和学习的关系。 三、教学步骤 Step One Lead-in 1. Teacher shows the website on the screen, then asks “What is it?’’ ‘‘Do you know any other websites you usually use?” Students answer the questions individually. Teacher introduces different websites with the help of pictures. 2. ‘‘What do you often do on the Internet?’’ Students speak out some English expressions according to some pictures on the screen, and the teacher writes them on the Bb. Then show the pictures for the second time, with the related English word or phrase beside the picture, such as read e-books, play games, send e-mails , watch movies, shop online ,upload blogs, chat with friends and so on. (第二遍展示的图片增加了文字,有单词或短语). (设计意图:用淘宝网导入课堂教学,贴近学生生活,引出本单元话题。通过图片激活学生的大脑,复习以前学过的单词和词组,并对新单词和短语有个基本印象。) 3. Activity 1. Look and match. Have the student recognize the activities and match them with the pictures. Words to be taught: communicate,search,download,online,upload, shop online, communicate with others, search for information. (设计意图:通过换不同的图片让学生学习巩固新词汇;与学生谈论这些活动也能为后面的活动做好铺垫。) 1. Practice. Have the students recite the words & phrases and have a check. You can choose the following activities. a. Have the students say out the English words and phrases according to the pictures. Or the teacher says the words in Chinese and the students say the words in English in correspondence with. b. Ask students to match the verb on the left and words on the right as quickly as possible. See which group is the fastest to finish it. communicate e-books shop online upload blogs read with others download music search movies watch a message send for information (设计意图: 游戏和比赛有利于充分调动学生的积极性和学习兴趣;让学生参与到课堂当中来,同时注意过程性评价融入进来。) Step Two Listening and speaking 1. Activity 2. Listen and tick. Students listen to the tape and tick what they are talking about. T: Ben is doing a survey. He is asking a student some questions. Listen and tell us what they are talking about. (设计意图: 听第一遍录音,了解谈论主题和识别关键词。) 2. Activity 3. Listen and choose. Read the questions in activity 3 with the students as a whole, listen to the tape again, and then choose the correct answer. (设计意图: 听第二遍录音,识别细节信息。) 3. Activity 4. Listen and complete . Ask the students to listen to the tape and complete the sentences. (设计意图: 听第三遍录音,填写细节关键信息。) 4. Activity 5: Listen and repeat. Students listen to the dialogue and underline the key sentences about the Internet. ---May I ask you some questions about …? --- Certainly. ---Do you have a…? --- Yes, I do. ---What do you often do on the smart phone? -- I watch movies, shop online and…. ---What do you think of the smart phone? --- It’s both good and bad. ---How come? ---It’s good because …. It’s bad because …. ---Do you chat with friends on WeChat? ---Yes, I do. /No, I don’t. Practice the key sentences: First the teacher and one top student practise as an example, then let the students practise the key sentences with each other in pairs. Ss had better use the whole sentences to ask or answer the questions. Change the role for the second time. T: May I ask you some questions about the smart phone? S: Certainly. T: Well, do you have a ---? S: Yes, I do. T: What do you often do on the smart phone? S: I ----. T: What do you think of the smart phone? S: It’s both good and bad.. T: How come? S: It’s good because ---. It’s bad because---. T: That’s true. By the way, here’s a form. I’ll collect the form after you complete it. Thanks. S: My pleasure. (设计意图: 跟读让学生注意自己的发音;边听边选出重点句型,为后面的练习做铺垫。) 5. Practice: Complete the dialogue in pairs and ask some students to act it out. A: Excuse me, I am . I’m doing a survey. (设计意图:为学生后面的产出搭建阶梯,增强学生完成后面任务的自信心。) Step Three Production Activity 6: Interview and compare. Use the key phrases and sentences to do the survey, complete the form. Do you play computer games online? Do you enjoy shopping online? Do you chat with friends on WeChat? Have some pairs to demonstrate. Give proper comments on the students’ performances. (设计意图:通过这个活动,让学生充分运用本节课所学单词和句型;请学生当堂汇报采访结果,训练学生的口语和听力以及语言组织能力,并及时评价。) Step Four Summary Make a short summary of what we’ve learned today. (1)Key vocabulary and phrases:communicate,search,download,online,upload, shop online, communicate with others, search for information (2)Everyday English about the Internet: ---May I ask you some questions about …? --- Certainly. ---Do you have a…? --- Yes, I do. ---What do you often do on the smart phone? --- I watch movies, shop online and…. ---What do you think of the smart phone? --- It’s both good and bad. ---How come? ---It’s good because …. Make a similar dialogue with your partner and write it down. 2. (第二课时 教学设计) Reading and writing 一、教材分析 1.教学内容 本课时系教材《英语基础教程》(2)第八单元的第二课时,包括Reading and writing部分,具体内容为:能够读懂网上的帖子;能够根据所提供的信息在网上回帖;学生通过对智能手机使用的辩论,培养自我控制能力,正确处理手机和学习的关系。 2.教学重点、难点 ⑴教学重点 能够读懂网上的帖子; 能够根据所提供的信息在网上回帖; 了解智能手机使用的优缺点。 ⑵教学难点 能够根据所提供的信息写出回帖。 二、教学目标 1. 知识目标 ⑴掌握有关网上帖子的词汇,如:forum, topic, opinion, discussion, chat, watch videos 等等。 ⑵掌握以下的句型,如: The mobile phone serves as a personal assistant. If students can use mobile phones in school, they may find their study easier and more interesting. Mobile phones can help students relax as long as they use it in their spare time. It does harm to them. It is obvious that… (3) 掌握表达自己观点的句型,如: I’m afraid I can’t agree with you. I don’t think so. I think Emma is right. 2. 能力目标 (1)学生能掌握网上帖子的相关词汇,并能学会写回帖。 (2)学生能针对某些问题写出自己的观点。 3. 情感目标 学生通过对网络的了解,培养自我控制能力,正确对待网络和学习的关系。 三、教学步骤 Step One Lead-in 1. Competition:Which group is the best? Revise the words, phrases and sentences they learnt. The teacher can use the games mentioned in the previous period. T: Yesterday we learned a dialogue about smart phones. Do you have a smart phone? (设计意图: 通过分组比赛,激发学生的参与热情,让学生在轻松的氛围中复习所学短语,;并在最后与老师交流中,导入本课时所要涉及的话题。) 2. Activity 7 Think and discuss. Let the students discuss more questions about mobile phones. 1) Do you usually use a mobile phone in school? 2) What do you often do on the mobile phone? 3) Do you think the mobile phone affects your study? Why? (设计意图: 通过讨论,将学生带入即将设定的语境里,帮助学生完成阅读任务。) Step Two Reading and writing 1. Activity 8 Read and match. Have the students read the passage and match the name and the opinion. Then have a check with the students as a whole. (设计意图:第一遍阅读,浏览大意。) 2. Activity 9. Read and choose. Students read the passage again and choose the answers. 1) Explain the following words and phrases to the students; make and receive calls (show action to explain ) serve as e. g. The stone can serve as a table. forbid sb to do sth forbid doing sth e.g. We forbid smoking in the reading room. My father forbids me to play computer games. as long as e.g. You can borrow my book as long as you don’t lend it to others. . It’s obvious that---- e.g. It’s obvious that you are wrong. do harm to e.g. Smoking does harm to your health. 2) Fill in the blanks, try to remember these sentences. They use it at home in school. The mobile phone a personal assistant I think our school should make a rule to the students mobile phones in the classroom.. mobile phones can be great tools for learning. (设计意图:第二遍阅读,寻找细节,并掌握新单词新短语的用法。) 3. Activity 10. Read and translate. Have the students read the passage again, translate the important sentences and try to memorize them. (设计意图: 第三遍阅读,进一步掌握文中重要的短语及句型,为下一步的输出做准备。) Step Three Production 1. Activity11 Answer and write Have the students answer the three key questions, and then help Mary and Jerry write a post to express their opinions, using the important words, phrases and sentences we learned just now. 2. Competition: Who did it best? Teacher chooses some students to read their posts, and judges who did it best. (设计意图:让学生运用课堂中所学的写回帖,达到学以致用的目的。通过竞赛形式,训练学生的口语、听力以及语言组织能力,并及时评价。) Step Four Summary Make a short summary of what we’ve learned today.
