美的追求
整容外科是医学的一个分支，旨在给身体某部位以新的形势来改善人的模样。整容外科还包括给烧伤的人植皮，给年老脱发的人植发。美容方法随着时代而变化，但人们对美的追求却一直没变。
人们几乎总是渴望自己的模样更漂亮。无论年龄大小，无论高矮胖瘦，人们都追求时尚以便看上去更有魅力。比如，在19世纪，美国纽约的妇女开始崇尚巴黎时尚。 事实上，法国时装曾在美国非常流行，甚至在闻明的美国裁缝中亦成风尚，许多裁缝把自己的名字改成法国式的名字。
到了18世纪，身高和体重成了美的重要因素。在法国大革命时期，许多妇女曾为了腰身苗条而经常系腰带。今天，我们仍然认为理想的美人应该修长苗条。然而现在想要改变体形的男男女女不必穿使他们疼痛的衣服了。他们可选择整容外科来改变他们的体形，除去体内多余的脂肪。
16世纪，化妆在英国成了追求美的一个重要组成部分。一些妇女往往把自己的面部涂成白色，脸颊涂成玫瑰色。他们认为这样化妆使她们更加迷人。到了19世纪60年代，美国女性喜欢使用化妆品来使自己更迷人。如今，那些希望自己时时刻刻都有最美好容貌的女性以开始使用永久性化妆品了，即将色彩植入皮肤里层。使用永久性化妆品是一种整容手术。
19世纪90年代，美国人发现骑单车实际上可以改善他们的体形！他们为了减肥，为了感到舒适而锻炼身体。骑自行车蔚然成风，甚至引起了时装的变化。美国妇女开始穿更短的裙子，而不是像过去那样穿又长又大的裙子。到了20世纪20年代，人们相信节食和运动锻炼是变的自然美的最佳途径。
虽然节食和锻炼仍然是改变外形的流行方法，但是身体有些部位没有整容手术的帮忙是改变不了的。在过去，美国妇女经常花好几周时间去吟诵以字母“P”开头的单词的诗歌，因为她们想改变自己的嘴形。

在未来每个人都会更漂亮么？回答可能是肯定的。医生们正在为找到更安全更快捷的帮助人们整形整容的方法而努力工作。然而，同任何一种外科手术一样，整容手术也可能带来危险和痛苦。此外，对一般人来说，整容手术绝不是一笔小开销。由于这些原因，整容手术今天还不怎么流行，但它未来可能很受欢迎。不管医生们是否找到更安全更快捷更便宜的整容手术，全世界人们都会坚持不懈的追求美。
但是我们中相貌不美的人一直存在，他们该怎么办呢？我们可以用美只是相对的这个事实来聊以自慰。虽然美貌可以吸引我们的注意力，但它可能在瞬间发生变化。另外，莫要忽视了人的内在美，不要沉溺于只追求外在美，而忘了自己的本质美。

It also includes replacing skin for peoplewho have been burned , and giving hair for old people with less hair .The way of cosmetic surgery is changing with time , but pursuing beauty for people never changes.
People have been almost always desiring to more beautiful shapes for themselves .Human beings all after fashion so that they seem more charming ,no matter how old they are , no matter whether they are tall or short and or stout . Take an example, in the 1800s, American women in New York started to uphold the fashion of Pairs. In the matter of fact , French fashionale dress were extremely popular ,even also becoming a trend among famous tails in USA , hence, a number of dressmakers gave French style names instead of their original names .
Coming to the 1700s , the height and weight of people had become the major factor about beauty . In the French Evolution time , many a woman often tied belt in order to narrow their waist . However, nowadays we still agree that ideal beauty should be tall and slender. Yet, the males and females who were long for changing their figures had not had to wear that clothes which made them painful at that moment .They can choose cosmetic surgery to transform their types, getting rid of unnecessary fat .
After that, it was the 1500s, makeup had turned into a important part of the pursuit of beauty. Some women always coated their faces into white, and coated cheeks into rose, because they were supposed that it made them more attractive in this way. Today it is not very fashionable because of that reasons , but in the future it might be terribly popular . The worldwide people can persist in pursuing beauty . No matter doctors whether would find safer , faster , and cheaper cosmetic technique.

But people who are not pretty are always here , what should they do ? We can comfort ourselves with the fact that beauty is relative. Although beauty might get attention , it can change in a matter of moment . Besides , do not neglect our internal beauty ,do not indulge in afterting external beauty , and forget the essence of the real beauty.
