形容词最高级的用法
一、最高级用于三个或三个以上的人或事物的比较，其基本句式是：
主语+谓语（系动词/行为动词）+ the +最高级+ 名词+ 表示比较范围的介词短语或从句。
表示比较范围的介词一般有of 和in。
eg: She is the cleverest girl of the three.
It’s the cheapest car in China.
二、形容词最高级的构成
一）规则变化：
单音节词和少数双音节词
1． 词尾+est ; cold-colder-coldest fast-faster-fastest warm-warmer-warmest
2． 以e结尾，词尾+st ; nice-nicer-nicest large-larger-largest
3．重读闭音节词尾只有一个辅音字母，双写辅音字母，加est;
big-bigger-biggest thin-thinner-thinnest hot-hotter-hottest
4．以“辅音字母+y”结尾，变y为 i , 加est; easy-easier-easiest happy-happier-happiest
多音节词和部分双音节词
在词前加most interesting-more interesting-most interesting
delicious-more delicious-most delicious
二）不规则变化：
good/well-better-best bad/badly-worse-worst many/much-more-most
little-less-least far-farther-farthest far-further-furthest
三、注意
1．表示“最…之一”的句式：one of the +.最高级 +名词复数；
Jim is one of the best students in his class.
Suzhou is one of the most beautiful cities in China.
2．“the +序数词+最高级”表示“第几个最…”；
The Yellow River is the second longest river in China
3．当最高级前有物主代词或名词所有格时，不加the ；
Monday is my busiest day.
Jack is Jim’s best friend.
4．比较级与最高级的转换；
He is taller than any other boys in his class.
He is the tallest boy in his class.
